Hello everyone!
I have a Asus P5B motherboard with Dual core E5400 and 8GB DDR2 800 mhz ram
My problem is very odd - when i power up my PC, my USB keyboard works fine - i can enter bios, view POST message, i can enter safe mode etc. If i let my PC boot up Windows it works again without problems. The issue is - when i enter BIOS with the Delete button, my keyboard suddenly stops responding and the bios freezes. Even the clock in the bios doesnt change. From that point, restarting the PC is my only option. The computer works fine, but i cannot change anything in BIOS, simply because when i enter it, its frozen. One last thing - the problem occured from nothing - it was working fine the other day, and now it does not.
I have tried using 2 different USB keyboards, 1 PS/2 keyboard, removed the CMOS battery to reset the settings, even re-flashed the BIOS.
Any thoughts?
