Hello i was going to buy this video card: Sapphire VAPOR-X AMD Radeon R9 280X TRI-X OC With BOOST (UEFI) Memory GDDR5 6000MHz 3GB DVI HDMI DP
But by watching at some videos and photos i noticed that it's really big, so i am not sure if it can fit my case.
I have a Midi Cooler Master Elite 431 Black with inside:
-RAM DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Blue Low Profile
CML8GX3M2A1600C9B 1600MHz 8GB (2x4GB) CL9
-Sapphire Ati AMD Radeon HD 7770 Core 1000MHz
Memory GDDR5 4500MHz 1GB DVI HDMI DP
-Mother Board Asrock 970 Pro3 R2.0 Socket AM3+ DDR3
SATA3 USB3 ATX
-CPU AMD FX-6350 6-Core Vishera 3.9GHz 14MB 125W AM3+
Boxed
And an Arctic Freezer XTREME Rev.2 that has been added lately. ( i don't even know if you needed these informations but i don't understand anything about pc stuff)
By looking inside my case i'd say that it can't fit but maybe i'm wrong since i have no idea on how to assemble pc components
Thank you :)

That says the card is 308mm long

That says your case can handle a 315mm length card so you're good so long as your power supply has two 8 pin or 6+2 pin connectors and enough juice to power everything.

Well, here's the thing, that's a pretty good unit but a bit light on power for that power hungry card and it's only got a 6 pin and a 6+2 pin so it doesn't have the right connectors either. To be fair the GPU will probably come with some of those molex to 8 pin or whatever the case may be adapters but I would maybe consider a slightly more powerful unit to be safe. I'd hate to tell you just to try it and overheat your powersupply and risk damaging components. I could recommend a few 750 watt power supplies if you want or a more energy efficient gpu.

Honestly if it were me I'd try it because the total draw of that card your cpu and everything is less than the total power of that power supply. But, I am prone to bad ideas at times and it's not a good idea to leave yourself with little to no headroom for overclocking or upgrades or to push a power supply too hard.\

But anyway, it's always better to be safe in the end.

I created another discussion yesterday about this VGA, and as you said too most people told me that 550 W are enough to handle all my components; also i'm not going to overclock and i don't think i will upgrade it more for a lot of time (of course when i will, the first thing i'll change will be the PSU).

Yeah hopefully it should be fine. But please if it starts getting really hot or your computer restarts or the screen flickers, any kind of odd behavior then turn it off because it's pushing it too hard and you could damage components.

Anyway, goodluck I hope all goes well with it.
