Status:
Have a Packard Bell EasyNote TK_85-JU-637NC that we managed to sweep the disk (and have no available restore DVD´s). So, I formated the disk with a new partition and tried to install Widows 7 from a CD. It starts up and everything goes smoth until you come to the place where the actual installation should start, here it says "no device driver available".
I have downloaded all drivers from Packard Bell, and tried to install them, no luck.
I have tried to search on the web, but dont find a solution. I have checked with different tools for problem on disk, memory or other HW, but they are ok.
Information about the PC is as below.

  • Packard Bell
    S/N:
    LXBR7020050462C99E1601
    SNID:
    04618268616
    MFG Date:
    1011
    Modell:
    EasyNote TK_85-JU-637NC
    Processor:
    Intel Pentium P6100
    Grafik:
NVIDIA GeForce GT 420M, 1 GB VRAM
    WLAN:
    Atheros AR5B97

Is there someone that could give me a hint about how to proceed?
Best Tor

Yes, I can se the Drive in Bios, and I can see it when I search for available drivers. I can even see all on USB stick and on the DVD... I can start to install the drivers too, but cant get any further. Its a bit anoying. I have removed partition and redone it again, formated the disk (NTFS), but with same result....
I dint think that this should have been rocket science, have done it several times earlier on HP computers, even if I had to add SARA drivers separatyl, but here it seems impossible..
