SLI GTX 580's

Hi I have an EVGA gtx 580 1.5gb non reference card I've seen a non reference GTX 580 1.5gb card for sale want to buy it but not sure if it would work in SLI (I'll link both cards below)

Yes as long as there 580's but made by different companys itll still work

Though I like the MSI better.

I'm doing similar with gtx670s. I've had 2 for a year now. But I plan to buy a 970 and sell them to help pay for it. Then another year or so get another 970.

Do you guys think it is worth SLI for those? I mean, just sell it and buy something new like a 970.

BTW, does your motherboard support SLI? And is your PSU good enough for two 580's?

Good point. That system would need at least a 850W PSU and a decent mobo to run SLI. I really think it is better to sell the 580, especially since it is only 1.5gb, and get a new modern, energy efficient, GPU.
