hey guys! Putting together my first gaming/streaming/music production computer and this is what I came up with after browsing tomshardware and other forums over the past week.
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K
Motherboard: MSI Z97 GAMING 7
Memory: 16GB-Kit Corsair Vengeance
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4G, 4GB GDDR5
Storage: Samsung SSD 850 EVO SATA 6Gb/s 250 GB
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 7200 1000GB, SATA 6Gb/s
Power Supply: be quiet! STRAIGHT POWER 10 700W CM (updated)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 - 64-bit
Optical Drive: LG Electronics 14x Internal BDXL Blu-Ray Burner Rewriter WH14NS40 - Bulk Drive
Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D
do the parts fit together well? do any of you have bad experience with any of the parts? do I need any other parts?
cheers guys
UPDATED INFORMATION:
1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
- playing latest games, streaming on Twitch (1080p), FL studio (big projects)
2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
- whatever allows me to do the points above flawlessly (but not more than that)
3. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
- I'll run the system at default speed
