I have only two options. either a gskill 2x4gb or a corsair 1x8gb(both are 1600mhz). i wont be upgrading ram anytime soon unless games have a minimum requirement of more than 8gb. so which option better? my mobo is h81 so i have 2 slots of ram.

gskill (2x4gb),two ram slots is better option,bcoz if one of the ram sticks get damaged,then u can still run with one stick and dual memory technology will able to run two sticks synchronously providing best performance.............
