Hello,
I'm building a computer with a i5 4590 and a Asus gtx970, but I can't choose between the Asus h97 plus and the AsRock h97 pro4.
Or will a gigabyte ga-h97m-d3h better?
Wich one should I pick?

Thankss!

I want to do a build with a Asrock Z97 Fatality and a R9 290x setup with...

I use a ASUS h81m-plus board, old yet reliable! I never had 1 hitch with it. But in the end it is what you prefer. I hear that ASrock boards are getting better andd becoming more and more reliable. Also, why not up to a 4690 and a H97 board? That seems like a better option :).

I'm going to agree with both Newbbuilder11 and Karsten75 -

I've got a lot of Asus gear including three mobos and have never had a hint of trouble out of any of it. I particularly like the Asus UEFI BIOS compared to anyone elses. When contacting Asus on behalf of others, customer support was always responsive and polite.

On the other hand, recently AsRock has been producing some very good mobos and they're usually noticeably lower priced. I'm currently putting together a build with that same chip and the same AsRock mobo and feeling comfortable with the combo.

You'll do well with either, so basically it comes down to budget and personal preference.

I've found a "cheap" i5 4590 (190euro/220dollars), the I5 4690 is 230euro/270dollars. Parts are here in Belgium to expensive :'()
