Just installed a new FX 8350.

Just curious if these temperatures are normal for it i am using an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 CPU Cooler with it.

My old cpu was AMD Phenom X4 965 BE (using) Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 CPU Cooler and its idle temps where around 40-45c.

Also since installing my CPU my power supply has suddenly had a case of "coil whine" i assume this is because my PC is under more load. This doesn't affect me much however as i wear headphones.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks

As long as you don't see significant throttling/ high temperature, the whine should not be of anything worth worrying.
Also the CX series PSUs from Corsair are of somewhat questionable quality and uses some low quality parts.
No big worry though :)

Corsair CX750 Builder Series CX 750W ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze PSU

I unplugged the power connector and unplugged and reconnected the motherboard psu connector. Still has the whine though.

Yeah, i can't hear the coil whine when i have my headphones on so its no biggie.

I tested out Shadow of Mordor for a bit and the cpu temps never went any higher than 46c, so its seems to working perfectly fine.

Thanks for the help man appreciate it.
