Ok, so I superglued my fan to my motherboard to stabilize it because it was rattling and making a lot of noise, but now I need to fix and/or replace my laptop fan. What should I use to remove the superglue without damaging the fan, motherboard, or any of the surrounding components?
I've heard acetone works quite well on superglue, but that it also eats away at plastics and I don't really have the money to just go buy a new computer right now if it gets ruined.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I suggest cutting the fan into pieces and removing it that way. A rotary tool would be ideal but care and a small snap-off knife could work too. If the super glue is applied thickly enough you might just be able to cut through it separating the fan from the board. Acetone would eat right through the board and even a tiny amount would damage the delicate traces.

Next time you need to adhere two things together that you might need to take apart at some point I suggest two-sided tape or 3M Command adhesive strips.

I would never recommend doing something like that, but I can give a suggestion to remove it:

Turn the laptop upside down, use a hair dryer to blow on the glue (glue should fall since its upside down and not seep into laptop), get it malleable enough and try to remove it.
