My GPU keeps overheating

I have a Radeon HD 7470. It is almost always between 75C-79C. Sometimes it ticks up to 80C, at which point my screens go black for several seconds and all of my program windows move around. This has become more common recently, and it's really frustrating when it happens.

i use caned air to blow dust from my all hardware and pc case periodically.

Do you keep the fans on auto? You may need to manually set the fan speed to something that gives you more satisfying temperatures.

Install something like Sapphire Trixx it is really easy you can modify the fan speed in the Fan Control tab
