Hello, I recently bought an ASUS GTX 660 Ti DC2 card to replace my old Sapphire Radeon HD6850 (i know its not the best choice today, but it was dirt cheap compared to anything else) and in virtually any game i play, if im not getting stable 60 fps (tried with Trackmania, CS:GO with triple buffer and League of Legends locked to 60) i get horizontal black lines moving upwards. They are not very noticeable but very very annoying. The problem is more evident when the scenes are dark, and the brightness is low. I have searched for a solution for some time now, but was not able to find any useful one. The problem is not screen tearing, and happens even when i have V-Sync on, when the FPS is below or above 60. Needless to say, i did not have such a problem with my old card.

Here are my specs:
Phenom ii X4 965 BE @ 3.7 Ghz with CM Hyper TX3
ASUS M5A97
ASUS GTX 660 Ti DC2
G.Skill Ripjaws 2x4GB 1600MHz
High Power 600W Bronze+
Lots of cooling, air ventilation etc.
ViewSonic 22" 1080p 60Hz VGA display.

CPU never goes above 50 degrees under load, GPU is around 65 degrees in Metro 2033 ultra.
Here' s a link to the video of the problem i just uploaded (watch in HD please):

If anyone could help me with a solution, i would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.

Since I don't have a monitor readily available for testing, it will have to wait. I might go and buy an HDMI cable and try to connect it to the TV inside. Don' t know if it will help though.

Try it on a TV or something and try a different Cable cause that doesnt seem to be a GPU problem

I should add that I have used my old card for 3 years, nearly every day with more games than i can count here, with the same monitor, and never experienced such a problem.

okay here try this.
Download MSI afterburner, open it , go to settings, check unlock core voltage, click okay than the app will restart, than youll have a new slider, put the core voltage 10-20 up and click apply and try playing Metro again

Increased the voltage by 25, played for about 10 minutes, checked the load after i finished it was about 98%. No problems at all, didn't overheat, didn't shutdown, no noise, nothing.

Dont up the Voltage clock to much it can break your GPU but 25 seems good make sure when your not playing games you put the settings back to default

I will do that. Thanks for your efforts.

But i doubt that the card is faulty since i can play CS:GO at 60 FPS Triple Buffered V-Sync enabled and no lines show up.

I tried connecting my pc to the TV via HDMI, with a little fiddling i managed to fit the screen. Resolution was 1366x768 at 30 Hz. No lines appeared when V-Sync was turned off and the game was running 200 FPS.

Went ahead and bought a VGA - DVI cable, the problem is still there. However, using that cable gives me shadows to the right of every object, text, icon etc. on windows.
