New Graphics Card, No Signal

Put in a GeForce GTX 650 Ti today. Before now, I was running integrated graphics.

The fan spins, but does not produce any signal when I plug it into my monitor.
I tried installing the drivers, but the program tells me it can't detect any hardware. I do not see it in the DIsplay Adapters tab in device manager.

It is plugged into the x16 PCI-E slot, but does not have any 6/8 pin power adapters, to my understanding it doesn't need it, and it is definitely getting power because the fan is running.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

It's pulling enough power off the mobo to power the fan, not enough to power the gpu. You need to connect the power 6 pin power connector to your psu. Ask yourself this, why would they include a power connection if it wasn't needed?

It has a female 6-pin slot, but did not come with a cable, bought it of eBay. I looked it up earlier, someone said it can pull enough power off the motherboard, and I think that's what it's doing as the fan is going.

Yeah I know, I only suspected something was wrong with the card because the fan was running, so I assumed it was getting sufficient power. The guy did not ship a 6 pin wire and didn't mention it on the listing, which is kind of a pain in the ass, after waiting 2 weeks because USPS goofed with the shipping... Gotta love eBay.
