Hi!

I recently finished building my first build in a long time - so far, it went pretty well. But I have a question regarding my Corsair CX600M power supply and the Gigabyte GTX760 Rev 2.0 it is (supposedly) hooked up to.

My concern is that the CX600M, while it does state on the box that it comes with 2x 6+2 PCI-E power cables, actually has both of those "cables" linked into one that goes into the PSU. There are 2 6+2 PCI-E connectors at the end (they sort of fork off), but they only take up one PSU cable connection point. The GTX760 requires an 8-pin connection and a 6-pin connection, so I was wondering if it would be OK for me to use both ends of the PCI-E cable to power the card. I also have Molex->PCI-E transformers provided in the box by Gigabyte, but I would prefer to use just the direct PCI-E cables from the PSU if possible.

Note: I have not tested the completed build yet as I do not have a functional keyboard on hand...

Thanks for the help!
