Good 250gb ssd for gaming

Solution

Hi there

it depends on your PC setup and how far up the SATA food chain you are (higher is better) - bt in my view the real answer is: you do not use SSD for gaming, as in most cases it does not bring a lot over the traditional HDD - and it will fill up quickly if you install a lot of big games..

Personally i use the SSD as my system drive (win7) and have a HDD for all games and files that can be moved there - this means that the system boots in record time and any temp gamefiles are saved to the ssd and therby very fast. - if you go this way a 100USD SSD will do fine for you. lso, be sure...

Thanks a lot. I am hoping to use the ssd as a system drive and maybe have one heavy game on it. Any different ssd features I should be aware of?
