Hey so iv recently just got all the parts for my latest pc (didnt bother buying a case as i have loads in the garage) so i got to the point of plugging in the front panel connectors for the power switch reset switch etc etc but normally you get the little 2 cable pwr and reset things to plug in from the case but i have an older case that has the 8 cable/10 cable thing for the power switch and stuff so im just stuck as to what to do as im very eager to start playing on it but cant because the case seems to have the wrong cables for the motherboard

Solution
power on and reset are easy enough, it only has 2 wires and has no polarity.
those multiple wires, maybe they are usb's? be careful with them.
for leds, you really dont need them, and putting them the wrong way will not do any damage, just reverse them.
