Hi any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm not too saavy with networking.

On my home network there are 3 PC/Laptops connected via wifi to a router/modem (Billion 7700n) and an older desktop running xp connected by ethernet. All can access the internet fine but there seems to be issues with sharing after I recently tried (unsuccessfully) to set up a plex media server.

On the plex server, it installed perfectly fine (PC connected by wifi) however not a single device could make a connection with the server (android or windows). Even after linking the server and players to a plex account - no connection, even on the website, except on the lan pc and the server.

After messing around it seems that the computers can't even join a homegroup. When one is created it can't be detected on any of the other computers (tried creating one on each one). All of them are set with network discovery on. When all of the computers are turned on, the only items that appear in the 'network computers and devices' are the computer which it is being viewed from, the router and the lan computer. Same with the network map.

The router is set up with dynamic ip and i was originally going to try looking into setting up dchp reservations or static ip but I don't think it would be responsible for not being able to see other computers on the network or joining homegroups. I haven't been able to find a similar problem anywhere and I don't know what to do next :(

Thanks
