Hi there,
I wonder if some kind person could help assist me to connect a card reader correctly to my board. I recently bought a pc 2nd hand but the seller said he never managed to connect the reader or the USB ports on the side of the case - thus when I need access to a USB port, I have to drag the pc out to get to the back of it
So I decided to attempt to remedy this if possible.
I had a look today and tried changing both connections around (usb 56 & usb 78 on board) but to no avail, neither the side USB case ports, or the Card Reader seem working on either.
I took some images on my phone that maybe useful for assistance.
The board is P5B Premium Vista Edition, the card reader is not named that I can see (but it is imaged by phone) and the case I have no idea how to find out which one it is. I have also took images of the case usb ports, and the front, rear and connector of the card reader. Also, the board USB ports that I assume the case usb and card reader will connect to.
I have managed to find the board manual but as far as my skill levels reach it seems the correct ports, so I have no clue what to do next. Here is a link to the manual incase needed:
