3g not working but 2g working

friends please help me my lg g pro e988 3g not working but 2g working i swtched to wcdma only not getting 3g its loading.then i tried gsm its working E signal.my sim tried to another phone its working 3g.i tried another 4 operator sim no 3g getting to lg g pro.but other phone is getting 3g
is it my phone hardware problem.which parts was damaged?
what is E edge is it 3g is e??

Vembutech :

First of all Edge E is signal related terms which has less bandwidth compared to 3G ,internet accessing would be slow in Edge . Now coming your main issue I don't think your phone has hardware issue as atleast it is receiving Edge signal . Please do check below things and try to figure out what problem it was ,

1. The sim you are using should support 3G

2.If your phone is a dual check mobile network settings for both sim cards .

3. If it is a single sim phone , please change the network band to WCDMA mode and switch off and switch on your phone once ( try this step for twice atleeast ).

4. Some times there would be signal detection problems in the mobiles which can be checked by going to some other place in your town ( main ) and check whether you are getting 3 G signal .

Lg optimus g pro e988 only single sim 4g lte support. But I tried in lenovo,sony,micromax,nokia all getting 3g.only my phone not getting 3g.i think its phone hardware issue..
