Thats normal. I wouldn't worry about it.
If you want more RAM you should be able to slot in a second stick of 4GB DDR3L 1333MHZ RAM.
But you will only be able to use more than 3.7GB of RAM if you have a 64 bit OS, such as Windows 7 64 bit or Windows 8.
