If they are needed where do I put them into my case? my case has another area specifically for the motherboard (Viper gtx red case) do I use all of the standoffs? btw the part is still in the box im waiting until I get my psu and other parts before I touch the motherboad

Yes they are. They are grounding spots on the motherboard. I recommend using all of them. If you look inside the case there should be a diagram for each form factor. ATX/MATX....

If you look at the back of the motherboard, you will see a lot of little soldering points. If you don't use standoffs, many of those will be short-circuiting across the motherboard tray. Do you want to short-circuit your motherboard?

We can't tell from the link, but it is VERY easy to install the standoffs if you have too. Pretty much every case has a diagram to install standoffs for the form factor of your motherboard.

This question was already answered. You DO need the standoffs, and they are preinstalled from what I can tell. Your questions have been answered.
