System info:

Alienware M17xR4
Intel Core i7-3820QM CPU @ 2.70 GHz
RAM: 24 GB
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Aetheros AR8151 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20)
Killer Wireless-N 1103 Network Adapter

Or, that's what it says with Windows Diagnostics. One of my laptops stopped connecting to the internet out of the blue. This happened right after an itunes update so after a little google searching and forum hunting, I noted that itunes seems to cause issues with the current incarnations. I deleted it and moved on.

I used:

ipconfig /all
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh int ip reset
netsh winsock reset

release/renew didn't work at all.

I also used the all-in-one fixer from http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/windows-repair-all-in-one/dl/275/

When using it, I did all of the offered repairs and suggestions.

I have reinstalled both cards and downloaded completely fresh drivers. I read that Killer network cards can have troubles due to the added installed software. So, I deleted said software and installed the stand-alone driver.

I have reset the router/modem.

All of the other computers/laptops/phones connect fine, just not this one.

I have been at this for days and I have no clue what the problem could possibly be.

The information provided by ipconfig /all is as follows:

Any thoughts?

Thank you very very much in advance.

Edit:

It was suggested from a friend that I try these commands:

Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog
Reset IPv4 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
Reset IPv6 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

They didn't appear to fix anything.

So you're getting link local ipv4, that tell sme your route isn't acting as a DHCP server. When you ran ipconfig /all did it give you an IP address for DHCP server? Log in to your router and check that DHCP is enabled.

edit: I see that DHCP is enabled, but you have no default gateway. Try plugging the laptop in to the ethernet and see if it's working.

I have tried twice (wasn't 100% sure I did it right the 1st time) but I am still seeing a yellow exclamation point and "limited" (none at all) connectivity. Troubleshooting now says it "couldn't identify the problem"

From a command prompt type ncpa.cpl then right click and pick properties on your connection. It might as you for your admin password if you have one set. Enter it then you should see tabs for IPv6 and IPv4 properties. Click each of them and make sure that "obtain IP address automatically" and "obtain dhcp server" are checked. Reboot and see if that helps.

Double checked and they are both currently set to obtain automatically. Restarted but no change:/
