How to measure wifi speed?

I recently bought a new 11AC router, and I was wondering whether there is a way to measure wifi throughput from the router to my phone.

I can measure the overall speed by downloading a file, or measuring using speed test app, but I was more interested in wifi only speed because it seems that my wifi is affected by other neighboring APs.

Thanks in advance!

Get a wifi analyzer app. You can see what channels and frequencies all the networks within range are broadcasting and at which channel they are using and then check to see if it is overlapping.

Thanks for the suggestion. I already have this app, and I can see many overlapping APs. However, I can't tell whether the channel is actively used by the neighboring APs. I am trying to measure the actual speed that I am getting from my phone without setting up iperf in my phone + laptops.

Not sure what you mean by actual speed.,,, but I will take a shot at it. I assume you have an android phone so go into wifi settings then long hold on your connected wifi and you should see your current link speed. I hope this is what you mean.
