So I'll go off by stating some information about my setup:
Ethernet connnection
Linksys EA 6500 with Linksys Smart WiFi (up to date)

So I've configured a CS:GO server, and after finding that nobody could join, I decided to double check that the ports had a rule and test the trafic through them. All of the rules were there, but after testing the ports I found that they could not see traffic. I spent all of yesterday messing with my router, changing every feature that might change it, and ended up keeping the original settings after finding that didn't work. I decided to factory reset the router. Now I'm stuck here: as soon as I set a static IP in windows, I can't connect to the router or the internet. I have no clue what's going on, and knowing my luck, after I get that issue fixed, the ports still won't be working anymore. I've had the port issue in the past, ended up fixing it, and can't figure out what I did to fix it. I could use some help. Thanks.

If you are losing access to your router after setting a static IP on your PC, you are likely setting an IP address that is outside of the router's subnet.

The default IP address of your router is 192.168.1.1, so be sure you are setting an IP of 192.168.1.x, but one that is outside of the DHCP range.
