They are going to be using the same network and are all connected to a main router.
Setup: 11AC Asus 4 band router.
3x apple airport extremes.

I have noticed ever since I setup the airport extreme my wifi signal has improved, but it is much slower than what I used to have.
So do I need to match up the channels or something?

Do you only have one router, the main one setup with dhcp on and the others dhcp off? I know this can cause issues if not. Also I would space the channels out. Like leave a few numbers in between. Say have one on channel 11 and the other 6 and so on to not get interference.

It is using the 5GHz and the 2.4GHz channels. (airport extreme) but it is being bridged off of another airport extreme which has a ethernet over powerline connecting it to the router. I cannot connect another ethernet over powerline to it because it is on a different electric panel than the router.
