Should I use the corsair h60 to cool my amd fx 8350?

Im reading a lot of reviews that the h60 breaks or leakes after a year or just right out of the box. And then im getting positive reviews on it. I have mixed feelings for water cooling and I don't know much about it. My case is the In win gt1 white. Not to many air coolers will fit in there that can sufficient cool the 8350. I don't know what to do. Help :'(

Yes your temps are safe, the highest you want to o tho will be 62 degrees, after that there is a chance of damage, but that only happens after around 68-70 degrees. And I'm going to go with the EVO. Seems like the perfect choice.

The H60 cools somehow but isnt that powerful a cooling solution, equivalent to a $25 air heatsink.
I'm not all that surprised its not performing too well. AMD FX Processors = GETS A LOT OF HEAT EASILY

H60 is not watercooling, that is LIQUID cooling. Anything under the H80 has no reason for existing other than the IDEA of "water" cooling.

The Noctua products are a very good option...some are a bit bulky by air cooling standards...though you're going from a radiator, so it won't be a big deal for you. Something like what you chose should be more effective than the H60.

I had an H80 and it was noisy out of the box. Corsair was excellent, replaced it paid for shipping and shipped the replacement out ahead of time (took a deposit but nice option so no down time). The new H80 cooled great, temps where excellent with my 3570k over clocked. It was roughly a year in when it exploded and dumped coolant all over my motherboard, ram, video card, power supply, wireless card. The only thing I ended up salvaging from that build was he hard drives. Went back to the good old reliable 212 EVO for my 4690K build.

They're closed loop water cooling systems that don't require maintenance. While the 8350 can emit a lot of heat, the H60 paired with some good fans should do fine, especially in a smaller space.

The Hyper 212 is a great little cooler, but i'd still go with the H60. Also i have an H70 that i use with my 8120 (which runs hotter than Vishera chips) and has been running well for quite some time.

Referring to Chad Greenburgs experience with Evo 212 and 8350 :)

"""" Hey guys,

I'm completely new to Tom's Hardware besides the fact that I use this site for researching a lot on computer hardware for my recent build so I can get an understanding of stuff. Anyways, the title of this thread explains everything. I just built my first computer about two weeks ago and have everything up and running perfectly; better than expected. I used the CM Hyper 212 EVO Plus aftermarket cooler for the FX-8350 and Arctic Silver 5 as the thermal compound. I overclocked using BIOS/UEFI on my Crosshair V Formula-Z to 4.4Ghz at 1.32V. Idling only, my temps range from 37-42C. Under load(Battlefield 4 for 1+ hours), My temps never pass 60C using HWMonitor but are around 54-58C while playing Battlefield 4. My main question is this: Are my temperatures idle AND under load safe? Also, is the idling temperature reducing the life of my CPU? I would like to keep it for around 2-3 years until I upgrade again, since I'm in school for Computer Engineering and want to have a stable computer for running Multisim and other non-vigorous applications. Thanks for any comments and answers!""""

- 37-42c IN LOAD is very good temp !

I suggest you to go for 212 Evo o/ !

I have a h60 running with my 8350. Two fans as exhaust to my case and two top fans to compensate for it. All in all my load temps are 50c oc'd at 4.6ghz. Two noctua fans. I scrapped the corsair (even though it was pretty good)
