Cpu+Mobo Combos for the money?, No upgrading in the future!

Client does not plan to upgrade in the future, and he is on a tight budget (600$ for the whole system, not including the OS) He plans to play Planetside 2, Bf4, and future games (Both CPU intensive) If the CPU allows it he most likely will do a small-mild overclock.
I repeat he does not plan to upgrade the system at all.

I was thinking 6300 as more games are starting to use multi-threads, and I believe this cpu will keep up in most games paired with a r9 280. The Fx-6300 does keep up in Planetside 2, but not as well as an intel cpu would.

FX-6300 + MSI 970 GAMING ATX AM3+ Motherboard (If theres cheaper mobo out there that can oc decently I would like to know)

The cheaper the beter for his needs, Im just asking the best budget cpu+mobo combo is?
Again open to all suggestions!

Rest of the planned build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dLTmBm

He Plans to use a new 60" tv for his monitor, would more video memory help on higher resolutions? An example a 280x with 3gb would be a better choice than 760 having 2gb when gaming on higher resolutions?

Thanks.

Solution
if he can go to $650 this would be a solid build. the locked i5 is plenty of cpu power and added with the r9-280 it will have plenty of gaming power as well.

but honestly that last $50 does get a great jump in cpu performance if he can swing it. i did add a cheap case in case it is needed. if not, that is even closer to fitting the i5 into the budget :)

and to answer your other question. yes vram will help a lot at higher resolutions. the most he would be doing is probably 1080p which the 280 will do well.

Thanks! Ill ask him if he can afford a bit more, also I forgot he does not need a case as I have some 200r cases lying around that will do just fine.
