Hi I currently use a Asus F2 a55 my le motherboard. It has 4gb of cheap 1600mhz ram attached to it at the moment. I am going to put 8gb of 2400mhz corsair vengeance pro ram on it. The motherboard and cpu (amd A8 6600k black) can take up to 2400mhz ram speed. The motherboard has 2 dimm slots and 2 ram bus.
Will I be able to remove the old ram and put the new ram in without having to format the hard drive or do a clean install? And will the ram fit into the motherboard? It's 2x 4gb 2400mhz ram.

Thanks for any help

As long as it's DDR3, it'll fit. You don't need to do anything but shutdown your PC and switch off your PSU (I would unplug it too), then pull the old ones out and install the new ones. Then boot to your BIOS and find your DRAM settings. Look for an option called XMP or DOCP and enable it - this will let your system run the RAM at full rated speed.

Just turn the pc off
wait a few seconds
Open the cabinet side panel
Remove the ram
Install the new ram
close side paNel
boot up pc
voila!!

However I don't think It will run at 2400mz. Might have to apply some tweaking to get to that frequency.
