does premiere pro cc 2014 (v 8.1) support r9 290x? I understand it supports the r9 290, but when i run GPUsniffer.exe it only dedects a GPU called "Hawaii", with close-to-non hardware accelleration effect... (Performance factor 1.1). Does anyone have the same issue, or knows how to get premier pro to support this specific card?

Adobe has begun to warm to AMD and it should accelerate using OpenGL, if it doesn't, try reinstalling the drivers first...

Not that I know of. I have tried this on an old desktop that I have with an AMD card and it just uses OpenGL and doesn't really accelerate the renders. I hope this helps.
