im confused should'nt all nvidia 730 graphics cards have the same number of cuda cores? some 730's show they have 384cuda cpores and other nvidia 730's show only 96 cuda cores why is this
Nvidia GT730 is considerably faster than R5 230. Even the slower 128bit DDR3 version of GT730 is still twice as fast. But it would be best to get 64bit GDDR5 version, which uses an even faster GPU.
There are two different version of the GT 730, one based on the old GF108 GPU from the old GT 440, the other based on the newer GK208. The older card has a shader hot clock, which means the 96 shaders (CUDA cores) are equivalent to twice that, 192 shaders. Obviously still a lot worse than the other version with its 384 shaders on a newer architecture.
The type of memory used is the reason for the difference.
Not really. The left and center versions have the same type of memory, but still different GPUs. The center and right versions have different memory types, but still the same GPU.
oh, so wich is faster and is it considerably faster then a AMD 230? i have a 290 but looking for a spare for 49.99 i think i might be able to re-order and get a 730 for the same price but wich 730 is better? i play more MMO RPG games than fps games also a 1080p monitor
