i have recently built a new pc,,, i used the sabertooth 990fx r2.0 motherboard,,,,,, when i put my 2x4gb corsair vengeance ddr3 ram in ,, it now says i only have 2.9gb of ram avilable to use,,,,,,, i have noticed on the packaging for the ram cards,, it says on the bottom,, supports intel core 17 ,,and supports intel core,,,, does this mean i have to buy new ram ort can this be fixed,, thank u for ur time,,,,,,

I have both that board and that RAM. They work just fine together. I think your issue may be a 32-bit copy of Windows. Please double check that and let us know. (32-bit only supports up to 3GB of RAM)
