Hey all, the title say it all. I'm looking for info on the lowest card that would work with a 770 or 970. I had a 660ti that I got as a swap from msi for a twice rma 7870 so I decided to use it for physx after I bought a 770.
Games played fine and I did notice a difference in fps when playing at 1440p. I've since put the 660ti in another build and gave to to my wife and I notice fps spike in heavy physx games. I'm not willing to get another 660ti, so I want to know whats the lowest card that will work with the 770 or the 970 i'm likely to upgrade to.
Lastly, let me say i'm not concerned about how many games use physx, i'm not interested in getting another 770 for sli, I do notice lower fps with physx so please don't say the 770 can handle it on its own. Any helpful answers are appreciated. Thanks
