I know that a 3.0 card is backwards compatible with 2.0 slots but what i want to know is this.....the card i'm looking at getting msi gtx750ti doesn't have any pci-e power ports so will the 2.0 slot provide enough power to the card, given my existing card msi gtx460oc requires two power connectors??

Solution
Yes, it should work fine. It only consumes 60 Watts and hence it only needs power from its pci-e slot. The GTX 460 requires 160W, and that's why it needs 2 power connectors
