Which build is better for gaming?

Hey all,

So I've narrowed down my possible gaming builds to these two;

Build 1:
- Seagate 1TB 3.5" SATA HARD DRIVE 64MB CACHE
- Kingston Hyperx 4GB 1866 BUS DDR 3
- Intel Core i3 4150 4TH GEN. 3.5GHZ 3MB CACHE
- Asus R9 280 3072MB - 384BIT - GDDR 5
- Corsair VS 650 WATT POWER SUPPLY
- GIGABYTE GA-H81M-S2PV

Build 2:

- Seagate 1TB 3.5" SATA HARD DRIVE 64MB CACHE
- Kingston Hyperx 4GB 1866 BUS DDR 3 (KHX318C10F/4)
- Intel Core i5 4590 4TH GEN. 3.3GHZ 6MB CACHE
- GigaByte GTX 750Ti 2048MB
- Corsair VS 650 WATT POWER SUPPLY
- GIGABYTE GA-H97-HD3 (ULTRA DURABLE)

Plus some kind of box to fit all these in. Both the builds will cost me roughly the same in my country (yeah prices are fcked up here).

Build 1 has an average mobo and CPU but a powerful GPU.
Build 2 has a decent mobo and CPU plus an option to replace my GPU for a better one after a wait of 2-3 months that is.

Looking for positve comments :)

Well I would say go more towards Build 2, but you want to get 8GB of RAM, not 4GB. For the GPU I would buy the system except for the GPU, then save up a little longer and get a better one than the GTX 750 TI. the 750Ti isn't a bad GPU, but its just not quite fitting with the quality of the rest of the system, and plus it gives you extra money for getting 8GB of RAM.

This will get you a better system in the long run that will last longer.

The only game that would be difficult to run is AC:Unity but the resolution can be lowered to increase FPS and make it run smooth.

Yeah sorry forgot to mention both the builds have 2x4GB RAM. Does this change anything?

Get rid of the VS650. Not a good PSU at all. Go with a lower model i5, like the 4430 or 4440, and pair it with the H81 board.

Can you recommed any other suitable PSU?
