my hard drive keeps dissapearing

hi my computer is a MSI apache pro and i have a 128gd ssd and a 1tb hard drive for all other junk my problem is that my drive is missing and i change the drive letter it in partition manager then shows but when i turn my computer off and back on or restart it the drive is missing again and i have to go back into the disk management and change the letter all over again to make it reappear

any ideas and thanks in advanced

Hey Casper7292. Although this may sounds like an OS issue, I'd recommend to try a few things first so that we could rule them out. Firs bakcup any important data which you might have on that drive. Then I'd recommend that you download the manufacturer's diagnostic tool to test the drive with it. You could also try it with a different SATA connection to see if the same thing happens.
