I originally bought my computer with 1 120gb Samsung 840evo to use as a boot drive and I just recently picked up a second, looking to set them up in raid0. However, I was wondering if there was a way I could do it without having to reformat my existing boot drive and reinstall my OS. Is this possible? Or should I just back up all my files to my HDD and format the old SSD?

Solution
For a RAID0, half of the data is written to one disk, half to the other. You will have to install something from scratch. You can backup your data and install the OS from scratch. You MAY be able to image your current drive to some external storage and re-install the image onto the RAID. I don't have a recommendation for software that will allow you to do that....
