Need help with Selling/Formatting my Laptop Hard drive.

Hi guys i sold my laptop awhile ago and didn't get time to wipe it beforehand so i asked them to remove it and give it me back.

Problem is i am seeing it only sold in america and its for about £40 -£60

It's a 500gb Toshiba mk5055gsx

I want to somehow manage to get onto the hard drive and check my old stuff, Or just simply do a complete wipe using windows format and then something like DBAN.

But how can i do this without the laptop??.

How are you posting in this forum?

If you have a computer with a SATA controller it will plug right in with the right cables. No difference between a modern 2.5" drive and 3.5" drive.

If you don't have access to a computer, then you won't be able to get any data from it.

I do have a pc yes, So your telling me that i just unplug my pc's hard drive, And insert a laptop hard drive instead?.

I thought that laptops HDD was different from PC'S?
