That's fair.
I would say that I am, and that I am very new to the IT experience (it is my second day, and I am young and stupid).
I would also say that I am trying to set two computers up for an employee so that a Windows XP machine can use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to a new Windows 8 computer (on the same domain). But when I try to log in to a remembered account on the Windows 8 machine, it asks me for a smartcard. I circumnavigated this problem by going to "Sign in as Other User" (or something like that), where I was able to enter my username and password like normal to access the computer.
I did not want the employee to have to do this each time, because though it is a relatively small hassle, it is a hassle non the less.
The GP Security section indicated that requiring a smartcard to log on was Disabled, but I still had my little issue.
Like a dummy, I thought I would turn it on, force it to apply, then reboot, and turn it back off, force it to update, then restart the computer.
I know that if I had given it even a little bit of thought, I would have realized that I would be locking myself out, but I did not think that far ahead, and now I am unable to log in to the computer because I don't have a smartcard and it wants one.
It is by far not my best moment, but I had good intentions.
At least, that is what I would tell you if I thought that you would believe that I am a (stupid) administrator.
