Recently purchased a new computer and named it Bxxxxx-Hxxx and created a user profile Bxxxxx.
After the user Bxxxxx no longer wanted the computer I was forced to change the computer name and profile. I changed the computer name to Rxxxxx-Hxxx and profile to Rxxxxx. My question is why does my computer still think its name is Bxxxx-Hxxxx? Even after changing the computer name in the properties?! Also when trying to remote desktop and using the profile Rxxxxx, it does not accept the new username, it forces me to use the original profile username Bxxxxx. I also noticed that in the Users folder, the old user name is showing up and not the new one. I don't understand... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
