At What CPU and GPU Temperatures Should I Worry?

Right now I've got an i5-4690k with a stock cooler, and an MSI Gaming GTX 970 with a stock cooler (also sorry to ask about graphics cards in the CPU forum). I was just playing some Far Cry 4 with my case fans turned on high, and the CPU/GPS fans on auto, and the CPU got up to 68°C while the GPU got up to 65°C. I'm really rather new to this kind of thing, but aren't these temperatures really high? At what point should I get worried about temperatures having harmful effects on my components? I plan on upgrading to a water cooler like the Cooler Master Nepton 280L but will that be enough? And as far as the graphics card goes, I'm not sure that I want to go through the trouble of getting it liquid cooled, but I suppose if it's necessary I will. I was also planning on overclocking, but if the CPU is getting this hot, should I not even try?

Thanks for any help you guys can offer to me!

Intel recommends the 4960k not exceed 72.72C, although I haven't had issues with Intel chips running up to 95C in the past. As far as I recall Nvidia GPUs are rated for about 100C, but I could be wrong. 65C shouldn't be an issue.

Alright, thanks for your advice! And as far as picking an effective CPU cooler, is CFM pretty much the most important factor to consider (Other than perhaps price and noise)? That's pretty much what brought me to the decision that the Nepton looked like a good cooler.

CFM is only how much air the fans blow and the ratings given are just manufacturer's estimatess. You're best off reading reviews. Google "name of product" review and read a few. A read a couple and the Cooler Master Nepton 280L sounds reasonable enough, just make sure it will fit in your case.

From what I've read elsewhere, anywhere in the 70's is a fine temperature, 80's are okay but not all day long. 90's are okay for a couple seconds.

I don't know how true that all is but that is the info I gleaned from lots of forums.
