Hi,

I went to memory express today to buy the Corsair H105, aside that it was out of stock i did not know it is thicker that standard rads at 38mm Thick, i am on the waiting list so when the shipments arrive they will call me but i don't know if it will fit in my CM690 III or not please advise, thanks.

Just pulled this off of New Egg, review of the 690 III, it looks like it will work fine with a 38mm ....

Pros: Great case, just enough room to work in without making the case unbearably huge and everything fits snug. Anybody wondering, the Corsair H105 fits perfect on top

Cons: Some places were a little tight but nothing was too hard to get in so everything looks perfect in its own place

Other Thoughts: I didn't use the bundled cooler, I heard some bad reviews but mostly just because of noise, but even without using that, it's still worth the price

Also found this for you, looks like your good to go :)

i am concerned about the clearance i am afraid that i wont have much clearance from the motherboard if i mount it at the top, also i want to mount the fans inside the case to blow out the top as an exhaust, will i have enough clearance from my board if i mount it a the top?

The h105 is a 240mm rad, or basically takes up the space of 2x side by side 120mm fans and will easily fit in several places in that case. A extra thick radiator just means that you may or may not have issues with clearance for things like the fan connectors etc at the very top of the mobo. It all depends on how you mount it. I have the 690 II Adv and I pulled the top off and mounted my rad directly on top of the frame, fans under the frame. Then put top back on. It fits fine, but is not really what the case designers intended, their idea is rad and fans mounted under frame. It did take a little patience and planning, but I have zero clearance issues, as the mobo only sees a couple of fans above it, as is standard for exhaust.

If you still have doubts, swap for the h100i or the h110 which are standard thickness, the h100i is same 240mm, h110 is larger 280mm
