So I recently upgraded my video card from a EVGA 550 Ti to a Gigabyte 770, and now when I play certain games my computer crashes.

By crash I mean it will either completely freeze up or randomly shut down.

Its the same response with every game (Hawken will always freeze up and Metro: Last Light Redux will always shut down my computer).

I tried upgrading my power supply with no avail, and this doesn't happen with every game I play (ARMA 3 and Shogun 2 run perfectly fine for hours on highest settings).

I'm pretty worried this might be hurting my rig, any and all useful help is much appreciated.

AMD 8150 8 core processor 3.6 GHz

2x 4GB RAM 2x 8GB RAM (all Corsair DDR3 1600)

Upgraded to a GS 800 PSU (don't know what old one was)

GTX 760 (as you already know)

Am I missing anything?

You'll need to reinstall the latest drivers, they won't, or shouldn't, still be there. It might also be necessary to uninstall all Nvidia applications from the Programs and features section of control panel, THEN run the uninstaller and then reinstall drivers.
