Well i"m a bit concerned since my cousin has the same specs as me only his 750ti is the FTW version and he gets about 85-95fps on low settings and my card only gets 25-43fps on low settings. Any clue wats wrong?

My desktop Specs
Fx 6300 Clocked @ 3.5GHz
GTX 750ti SC
430w Thermaltake PSU
1tb Harddrive
8gb of ram crosiar vengence
MSI 970 Gaming (Motherboard)

Thats a bit of a weird one. Are you both playing on the same resolution?
Ever had any graphical glitches on your graphics card that made you think it might not be working at 100%?

I'd expect that card to be closer to 30-50fps at least.

Easiest trick to increase performance is to close all programs, change your desktop resolution to 1366x768 and then launch the game. Let me know if you get any improvement.

Does it count if i didnt use tht program to uninstall drivers?

And yes we are playing at 1920 x 1080. As for graphical issues no i haven't experienced anything. That's what id expect too i see so many ppl get good frames on there rig with the same cpu and ram bt yet mine doesnt get there.=/

Hey! I think I found something http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/1xcyub/if_your_video_card_is_under_performing_make_sure/

This person updated their BIOS and now their system works fine. I think with the FX 6300 being a year older than the 750ti you might be having the same issues.

yes it will be better if you use DDU because it will completely wipe off any traces of the previous drivers, this will count especially if you previously had an amd card and just upgraded to the 750ti.

and about the bf4 settings make sure to set the resolution scale to just 50% - 100% even my r9 270x will output 20fps if that resolution scale is maxed up to 150%-200%

checked my motherboard and its up to date. Good find tho:)

alright just did that and went on bf4 and it helped a bit 40-45fps now on low

got it set it too 100%

hmm could you use msi afterburner and activate the monitoring system and monitor your gpu usage, it is still underperforming. (are you playing multiplayer or single player - what is the processor of your friend with the 750ti ftw)
and are you sure thats not a gtx 750 sc? 750 sc and 750ti has huge performance difference.

the gtx 750 ti would perform an average 40-50fps on ultra high settings (aa disabled and ssao)

I found these tools for tracking CPU and GPU usage to help you search for a bottleneck.

This trick brings up the benchmarking tool for measuring CPU and GPU usage http://diaryofdennis.com/2013/12/14/how-to-enable-the-c...

I think you can work it out, but I'll send you the article about how to track the bottleneck that led me to the answer.
https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/forum/threadview/...

Try it out. It should help you.

Thats frustrating. The link worked yesterday and the thread is still there, but the link was changed.

Here is the copied and pasted info:
"I know a lot of BF3 players wonder why there performance can sometimes suffer, so here's a way to figure out whether your Processor (CPU) or your Video Card (GPU) is the problem.

I completely forgot about this nifty console command back in the BETA, but I came across it today again and I figured I would share it.

So lets say your experiencing FPS drops at random, and can't figure out what the problem is. Here's a possible solution:

1. Open up the console command by pressing the "~" key, which can be found to the left of the "1" key on almost all keyboards.
2. A small box will appear in the left top corner of your screen. In the Box type the following command exactly as I have it here:

Render.PerfOverlayVisible 1

After typing it, press enter and close the console command box by pressing "~".

3. In the bottom left corner of your screen, a small graph will appear, it will have both a yellow and green line inside it. These are color coded. The yellow line is your CPU performance and the green line is your GPU performance.
4. How does this help spot hardware issues? Pay attention to which line often dips lower than the other.

If the yellow line is below the green line, either consistently or at random, it means your GPU is holding your performance back and lowering some settings could help or buying a new GPU alltogether.

If the green line is below the yellow line, it means your CPU is holding you back and you should probably play on smaller servers or purchase a new CPU.

So to recap:

Yellow line BELOW Green line = GPU Bottleneck
Green line BELOW Yellow line = CPU Bottleneck

NOTE: To disable the command and take the graph off your screen open up the console command again by pressing "~" and type the following:

Render.PerfOverlayVisible 0

Press enter and close the console command. "

Yeah, its a little bit odd. Apparently dual channel RAM helps with Battlefield 4 a little bit, but thats all I can think of and would only be a small boost.

Undoubtedly the graphics card is in the x16 slot so there should be no issues there.

Can you overclock your graphics card slightly? EG: 50MHZ more and see if that helps?

We can also start trying to work out if there is a graphics card issue. Have you noticed any weird graphical glitches on your screen? Like weird colors or a dark shape dancing around the centre of the screen, red lines or a high GPU temperatures in general above 83 degrees Celsius/ 182 degrees Fahrenheit?

If its hot is the space around it clear with no cables getting caught in fans?

You can even run the card through benchmarking software to find out if its working as well as it was supposed to. The demo for 3d mark 11 should help you out there. If its below standard you might be able to get a replacement.

i think there is something wrong with your processor, try to disable turbo clock and see if all the cores are activated in using the bios.

i ended up returning my card and got another one and the new one works fine now. I think the old one was defective or something=/. Thanks for all the help in trying to figure my issue out =)
