i have bought a dell laptop inspiron i5 which has only 1.6ghz, so how can i increase to more ghz

When you open a intense application. The i5 has something called "turbo boost" and it will increase by it's self to the turbo boost clock.

The CPU will probably boost up to 2.5-3.0+ GHz depending on the model. You won't be able to OC the CPU but you could set your CPU to 100% speed in power options and tge CPU will run at tge max turbo boost for all two cores.
