Is it possible to change the mobo and CPU without reinstalling Windows 8.1.

I was wondering is it possible to uninstall AMD's CPU and motherboard drives, install Intel's CPU and motherboard drivers, turn off the PC, replace the hardware, and then restart the PC without having to reinstall Windows 8.1.

Yes there won't be any issues in moving the HDD over to other hardware, you only need to install new drivers and remove the old ones.

i dont know for sure.
cause i did change my Mobo, CPU, RAM, PSU, everything (except my HDD's), and i didnt have to reinstall windows. i was using win 8 back then.

but u have to reinstall windows for better performance, cuase after 1 week i did reinstall my windows. and i did get better performance.

its your call.
