Hi Community,

Could you please guide me for an important issue i am facing ?

Currently, I am using a sapphire 6570 card which runs low FPS and with only 720p resolution on farcry 3 and other games I like. So, I plan to upgrade it with a pre-owned Sapphire 7850 2GB Dual X Edition which my friend is giving me at good price.

My system is with below configuration with all brand new parts except MoBo/Processor

>AMD Phenom 2 965 Black edition Processor 125 Watt TDP
>Asus M4A79T -Deluxe Motherboard
>2 TB Seagate Barracuda Desktop Hard disk
>4 GB Corsair DDR 3 1600 Hz. frequency
>1 Samsung DVD RW drive
>iBall Majestic cabinet with one 120 mm cooler master standard fan installed on back side.
Cabinet URL(http://www.iball.co.in/Product/MAJESTIC/744)

The issue here is, I am using stock iBall PSU (xps-252) supplied with casing which lacks information about wattage and even any 6 pin connector also ! (however, the seller verbally told that it provides 450 W output)
I know a local shop where i can find a "Molex to 6 pin connector" which can help me to run the card... Should I go for it ?
One more thing, I am not overclock crazy and till date I didn't overclock any components of my machine and don't plan to do so if getting good performance on card i plan to purchase..

I am in huge dilemma about should I go ahead with Sapphire 7850 2GB or not ?
Please help me ...and Thanks in advance for helping me out !!! :)

Performance Environment: I am using WIndows 7 64 Bit with Avast 2015 Security and Malwarebytes premium edition and mainly play games/watch movies/MSoffice/internet browsing on my system.(no graphics encoding / Decoding etc. till date)

Hi Luco,

Thanks for response, I got it.. However, I even don't know if my casing can support any good Corsair PSU... and how to install it ?? Moreover, If I feel tight on budget can I atleast run it for few days after removing any additional components temporarily ?? Suggestions Please ...
Thanks in advance :)
