Is this a good gaming pc build for about $1,700 aud (http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/zkDk7P) / [Price breakdown by merchant](http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/zkDk7P/by_merchant/) also what fps do you think it would get in bf4 at ultra settings? Thanks

There are better choices for a CPU, for example the i5 4690k is superior, especially if you overclock it (although I do not know if your motherboard is good for overclocking). Otherwise, the video card seems to be able to support about 30 FPS at ultra setting (you can find some tests on the internet if you want).

^ 30 fps?????
Nah mate - even with the fx you're talking between 60-90fps on bf4.

Changed a couple o things for you - the MSI 970 board is as good if not better + it matches thevcard colour scheme.
This has squeezed a 212 evo in for the same budget (you do not want to be using the stock amd cooler!)
Swapped the PSU for a gold non modular - that case has good cable management - you'll easily tuck spare cables behind the mb tray - far better psu than the corsair.
You would be better going a single 2tb platter drive & squeezing a ssd in the build (even if it means dropping to 8gb ram)

AMD is not the way to go for gaming.

The PSU is not good, with corsair only go with TM TX AX models.

Why are you getting a sound card? Onboard sound on boards are more than enough for our human ears, unless you plan on doing some sound engineering.

Wireless adapter, USB wireless adapters work better than internal ones.

I would suggest an i5 4690 / 4690k paired with a z97 gaming 5 either MSI or gigabyte, or h97 (if non k model)

Though the FX8350 is a great performer (and will easily get more than 30 fps on games on ultra), at this price you should get an i5 which simply performs better. I made some other changes to your build as well. Though the fatal1ty H97 board allows non-z overclocking this cpu is locked. If you want to overclock you should get a "K" cpu (for example the 4690K) and a good cpu cooler (for example the coolermaster EVO).
Also switched one of the harddrives for a SSD for fast boot times and programs.

Also most motherboards come with built-in audio chips, so while I left your audio card in the build, you don't need it.
And, for gaming an ethernet cable is recommended above wireless because of lag, but maybe a cable isn't an option in your case so you need the wifi card. Otherwise you could drop the wifi card too and connect the pc through an ethernet cable.

My bad I've been looking at 4k FPS... On 1980x1080 there's a solid 60 FPS.
