How can I tell if an HD enclosure I have bought is actually USB 3.0?

I have bought a cheap hard drive caddy off eBay, it has arrived today and I thought I would check out how quickly it moved a 4.5gb file, it seemed to go at around the same speed as all my USB 2.0 enclosures. Is there anyway I can check, either with device manager or 3rd party software that the device is actually USB 3.0?

It is blue, I am aware of blue being USB 3.0, but this is clearly a cheap Chinese device and plenty of eBay goods are not what they say they are. Just ran Crystal on it, it doesn't say what type of USB it is. It just says Interface: USB and Transfer Mode: SATA 300.

Its an alledged USB 3 caddy on a USB 3 port though. I have used MS USBview and it is seems it is capable of 'superspeed' but it doesnt appear to be operating any faster than 2. I have used my brother WD Passport USB 3 on the same port and it was super fast ... hmmm
