Hello there! I'm having a problem with my computer... it seems that whenever I play high-graphics games like... Call of Duty Black Ops or GTA IV and other games that has cool graphics.. my monitor just goes standby and shows that it has no signal.... and i look at the cpu its still running... and when i look behind the monitor ... the wires are ok.... please help..... i really think its my video card... and to tell you that i tried overclocking my video card using a software idk... i think maybe its the reason the video card's damaged and u know acting like this....

sorry for bad english

Maybe it is not damaged, maybe it is still overclocked and cant work properly (due the lack of enough power to supply your graphic card or your cooling system is not enough for overclocked graphic card), so solution fot this is to all settings of your graphic card return to default and btw can u post name of your graphic card and can u remember what software u used for overclocking.

its GeForce GT220.. and I remembered using EVGA precision, MSI afterburner.. and I think I used one in Nvidia?? there was like a setting for overclocking.... yeah.. because when I used evga precision and msi afterburner i didnt see any changes with the performance.. and i dont think the display driver crashed when i used these two softwares... soo........

and I found a software that checks the video card's status??? called GPU-z... u can see here that the clocks are on default.... yep

Hello there guys!! I just found the real problem... it was actually the gpu's fan not working... even though it showed 100% in the monitoring app.. it was actually not spinning and causes the gpu to overheat while playing those games.. but... my brother fixed it with his wizardly powers(he just actually cleaned it a bit.. and the fan worked).. YAY!! so thank u anyways for trying to find a solution.. :D
