PCI or USB for a wifi card

Hello I have just built my new computer and I need a wifi card but I have herd about USB ones I don't know what is better and what I should get I currently i am far away from the router and the available slots are called PCI &PCIEX4 which one should I use? Thanks ahead of time

I personally prefer PCI, in the past the USB ones I have used tended to overheat. Some years have past since then so the newer ones might be just as reliable, best bet is to check out reviews for both and go from there. Also depending on which PCI one you get there might be multiple antennas which can be very useful depending on where your computer sits from your router.
