Can different types of RAM be mixed?

Solution
It does support both DDR2 and DDR3. IT is quite old, and only supports up to 1333 mhz.

However, you will only be able to put one in, or the other. I would put what DDR3 RAM you have in because it is newer than the DDR2.

As long as your DDR3 RAM is less than 1333 mhz, then you are set!
Please do not have your title be "please help" or anything along those lines.
<Mod Note: Fixed>

No motherboard has different RAM slots. It will either have DDR3 or DDR2, not both.

If you have 2 different RAM sets, look at your motherboard manual or post your motherboard model so we can check which RAM to use for you.

Hello... Your MB canot use BOTH... One or the other slot types.
You have a older MB model that was made during the transition between DDR2 and DDR3. They were Sold as great option for an Upgrader at the Time, but are not now, since DDR3 prices fell. And their use will limit total memory used and needed for todays use.
